Report

Summary

The purpose of this project is to provide project management services necessary to successfully transition the administration of the T2050 program to an in-house City administrator in the Street Transportation Department.

For the past ten years, the T2050 program has been a consultant administered program that coordinated the work of developing plans to increase transit access, planning bus routes and extensions, locating future light rail stations, deciding potential bus rapid transit routes, building and improving roads, and creating and enhancing bike lanes.

Procurement Information

Deccan Consulting, LLC was chosen for this project using a Direct Select process set forth in Section 34-103 of the Arizona Revised Statutes. The Direct Select process will help transitioning the T2050 program administration from an outside consultant to in-house.

Contract Term

The term of the agreement is one year from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work scope identified and incorporated into the agreement prior to the end of the term may be agreed to by the parties, and work may extend past the termination of the agreement. No additional changes may be executed after the end of the term.

Financial Impact

The agreement value for Deccan Consulting, LLC will not exceed $200,000, including all subconsultant and reimbursable costs.

Funding is available in the Street Transportation Department's Capital Improvement Program. The Budget and Research Department will separately review and approve funding availability prior to execution of any amendments. Payments may be made up to agreement limits for all rendered agreement services, which may extend past the agreement termination.

Concurrence/Previous Council Action

The City Council approved Professional Services Agreement 154547 (Ordinance S-47710) on June 16, 2021.
