For $44,700 in payment authority to purchase technical installation training for work in high-voltage environments, for the Police Department. The training, funded through reallocated UASI dollars from the Department of Homeland Security, will be conducted in Phoenix, in November 2026 to support the Real Time Intelligence Crime Center and reduce travel costs. The course provides nationally recognized safety instruction for equipment installation on utility poles and includes pre-course learning, classroom instruction, and supervised hands-on work with live electrical systems. Personnel who successfully complete the required examinations will receive formal certification.
