Report
Summary
These contracts provide departments Citywide the ability to furnish, reconfigure, optimize and create safe employee workplaces. The City requires continued and expanded procurement authority to support essential facility operations, planned capital improvements, department relocations and large-scale modernization efforts across multiple departments. Additionally, a recent water leak at 100 West Washington resulted in significant damage to multiple floors and the furniture will require full replacement. This spending authority ensures that departments can maintain operational readiness, create safe employee workplaces, meet safety and American with Disabilities Act compliance standards and deliver high-quality service to the public.
Contract Term
The contract term remains unchanged, ending on August 31, 2028, with a one-year option to extend.
Financial Impact
Upon approval of $35,000,000 in additional funds, the revised aggregate value of the contract will not exceed $57,500,000. Funds are available in the various department operating and Capital Improvement Program budgets.
