Summary
This Legislative Report provides the most current information about bills that could impact the City. The Fifty-Seventh Legislature, Second Regular Session adjourned Sine Die on June 13. In total, 2026 legislative session lasted 153 days and lawmakers introduced a total of 2,030 pieces of legislation. Governor Katie Hobbs now has until June 25 to sign, veto or simply allow legislation to go into effect without her signature. Attachment A provides current status of legislation.
