Summary
This Legislative Report provides the most current information about bills that could impact the City. The 57th Legislature, Second Regular Session adjourned Sine Die on June 13. In total, 2026 legislative session lasted 153 days and lawmakers introduced a total of 2,030 pieces of legislation. Governor Katie Hobbs now has until June 25, to sign, veto or simply allow legislation to go into effect without her signature. Attachment A provides current status of legislation.
