Selection of Vice Mayor - Citywide
Description
Request to permit the City Council to select one of its members to serve as Vice Mayor, until such time of another Vice Mayor selection, pursuant to Phoenix City Charter Chapter IV, Section 3. Rule 7(c) of the Rules of Council Proceedings (Phoenix City Code Section 2-60) states that: "The Council shall select a new Vice Mayor once each calendar year at the first formal meeting in January or at the next regularly scheduled meeting after a Vice Mayor vacancy occurs."
